MELBOURNE SPRING FASHION WEEK - 1- 7th September 2008

RICHARD NYLON MILLINERY EXHIBITION
In the windows of Hardy Brothers Jewellers Melbourne store, leading Melbourne milliner Richard Nylon exhibited
his “love poems” hat collection for the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.

Inspired by the connection between spring and love, the exhibition featured a collection of five highly detailed hats, each carrying their own message
or symbol about love shown amongst selected Hardy Brothers jewels.

Nylon says “Hardy Brothers Jewellers make the Melbourne Cup trophy, so I thought there was a natural synergy between my hats, Melbourne Spring Fashion week, fine jewellery
and the Spring Racing Carnival. I asked if I could put a collection of hats in their Collins Street store windows, a romantic location in itself”.

The exhibition marked the beginning of the spring fashion season with Spring Fashion week and the Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival.
